GW Partners is the trade name of Chimborazo Consumer Partner Group LLC ("GW Partners," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through gw.partners and in the course of advising our clients, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, company name, company website, email address and the contents of your message.
- Client engagement information. When a company engages us, it may provide financial statements, tax returns, bank and sales reports, ownership and corporate documents, and similar materials through our secure client portal.
- Connected account data. With a client's authorization, we may connect read-only to its accounting and commerce platforms, such as QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify and Amazon Seller Central, either directly or through a data aggregation provider. This access is limited to financial and operating records (for example, general ledger, invoices, orders, payouts and inventory) needed to deliver the services the client has engaged us for. We do not request login credentials for these platforms, and a client can revoke access at any time from the platform itself or by contacting us.
- Website usage data. Our site uses Google Tag Manager and related analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve the site. These tools collect device, browser and page-view information. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and evaluate whether we can help.
- To deliver our M&A advisory, growth consulting and capital-raising services, including preparing materials that a client approves for buyers, investors or capital providers.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to organize and analyze client materials. These tools support our team's work. They do not make decisions about any client or individual, and every recommendation we deliver is reviewed by a GW Partners principal.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information or client data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We share information only:
- With prospective buyers, investors, capital providers and other counterparties a client has authorized us to approach, under confidentiality terms and only to the extent needed for their review.
- With service providers that host, process or secure data on our behalf, including our client portal, virtual data room, form, data connection and AI processing providers. These providers are bound by contract to use the data only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, subject to this policy.
Retention and deletion
We keep client materials for the length of an engagement and for a reasonable period afterward to meet professional and legal obligations, generally no more than seven years. Data obtained from connected accounts is deleted, or its connection revoked, within 30 days after an engagement ends unless the client asks us to keep it. Any person or client may ask us to delete their information by emailing the address below, and we will do so unless the law requires us to retain it.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and permissioned data rooms to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected parties of a breach as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Other
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
